Sorry I have been absent so much. With my hip replacement and non stop company for the last two months I just haven't been as active. You probably haven't missed my fantastic insight, but I apologize any way.
You just get well Bill. We'll still be here being dumb as ever. I'm jealous of that new hip. I have two knees (one especially) that do not work and they won't replace. They keep giving me shots (that are wonderful) but only last so long, and when the effectiveness goes away, it's like the Pumpkin Carriage at midnight. Since the baseball coach is determined to dick over my son (God, I actually sound like one of THOSE parents but even the AD agrees with me), he didn't get to play Legion Ball. Well, all of the 1st basemen in the program have graduated, quit the team, or moved...leaving Carson the only 1st baseman. I threw so much BP the other day I can barely wipe my caboose... so if you have any new spare parts laying around, I could use them.
Thanks guys. I am making good progress but still not allowed to put full weight on the hip because I had a hairline fracture that happened during the procedure. I have an appointment on Aug 31 and will probably be released at that time. Corey, whey won't they do a knee replacement?
I need to practice my French, no make that learn from scratch, because we going there for the month of October.
And I still have a ways to go on my rehab from the hip surgery. I haven't been released yet to put full weight on the leg. Hopefully I will after my next Dr. Appointment Aug 31. However I am being very faithful with the exercises I have been given to do including walking with my cane for about 30 minutes or more a day.
Thats great Bill! Rehab never goes as fast as you want, but it sounds like you are on schedule. Keep it up. :!:
