After talking to several people in different positions at Intel in Liexlip Ireland, I am amazed at how good we have it. These people pay income tax at the rate of 58%.

    Are you listening???

    58 flippin % I said!!!

Cindy and I are in the mid 30% tax bracket in the US thinking I pay too much. These people do it as a matter of fact without questioning it. They don't like it, but they don't belly ache about it.

Look at what we have, although slipping away it may be. Be thankful that $0.58 of every dollar of your wages is not withheld for taxes.

It could be worse Tom, the Italian investor who owns the farm I have managed for 18 years pays 62% in Italy. He has always said America is the only place to invest and make money. He also says that we are doing our best to be like Europe and they are trying to figure out how to be like us.

I just took a jaunt to the East coast (didn't make it all the way) and I thought that Arkansas, Louisiana, and Alabama had bad roads. I'll put up a picture of one of the detour roads... detour that lasted for 75 Killometers that is. At one point, if I had met a car coming the other way, one of us would have had to back up for at least 200 meters. Thank you Rick Perry for the roads we have in Texas and the continuous improvement thereof.
