    Nomah...Ekstein..Hanley Ramirez..Renteria..Orlando Cabrera.. all having all star years in NL and all played Short stop for Boston. ( There is one more who slips my mind right now) jif ( Adam Everett)

    Joel,

    The Cubs' history is littered with ex-Cubs who went on to have outstanding careers.....after they left the Cubs. One who comes to mind this year is corey Patterson. The Cubs waited and waited, but he never performed to his potential. Now with the Orioles, he's having a career season. There are many others.
