Pitchers and Catchers tomorrow at Kissmmee for the Astros.

Issues still to be dealt with for 'Stros

    1. Jeff Bagwell. He wants to play, but still can't throw a baseball. I think he should retire. Instead there is this controversy over wheter or not he's being treated shabbily by the Astros after all his years of loyal service. He's got a guaranteed contract, at the very best he'll be a shell of the player he once was, I don't understand why he wants to fight the Astros and try to play.

    2. Roger Clemens. We can't talk with him till after May 1, but he's not closed the door on playing this summer. He is going to play in the World Baseball Classic. So he if he feels good after that maybe he'll want to play and I don't know why he'd go back to Boston or New Yawk.

    3. 4th and 5th Starters after Oswalt, Petitte and Backke.

    4. What to do with Chris Burke. He is the 2nd baseman of the future, but Biggio isn't giving up that job till he gets 3000 hits and that'll will take him into the 2007 season. He played a lot of Lf last year, but we now have Preston Wilson penciled into LF. So it's either warm the bench and play when Biggio needs a day off or back to AAA. Kid is growing old waiting for Biggio to call it quits.

    5. What did the post season do to Brad Lidges psyche?

Don... We didnt do that badly..about 12 or 14 inches. Ney York City got 27 inches ( a new single day record). It came on a Sunday so they were able to clean up pretty good and although schools were closed today, everything else was back to normal. :D jif
