Bammer at the Aggies..... one hell of a game so early in Tex A&M's SEC tenure.

Weird how the Aggies in their very first SEC season had perhaps one of the best teams in their history plus the Heisman winner!!!

As last season wore on I was increasingly happy that UF had somehow found a way to win..... sooooooo very far from home....... way the f@ck out in Aggieland in the Texas heat against a team that would go on to beat eventual national champion Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Great job... Gators.... and great job Aggies!!

Looking forward to the Tide-Aggie rematch.

Well one thing for sure, Nick Saban is taking the lead in trying to get the SEC to schedule better. He's wants 9 conference games, but he's a lone voice. Not to mention he's got some excellent non-conference tilts scheduled in the future.

Bama could probably play a all away schedule at any team's stadium in the nation and still win the title!

Scott, I'm looking forward to it. These kind of games are why I put up with all of the other BS surrounding college football. :)

no comment on Nick Saban poking a little fun at Ohio State? Man, that dude knows he's under Meyer's skin.

Meyer started this. I really think Saban doesn't think of this stuff and only responds when asked.

I don't buy it. Saban is our robot overlord. He has everything planned, programmed and ready to articulate. Still, it's fun :)

Nah, this off-season stuff is all chaff. It's not part of the process so it is just a distraction to him. It is fun for us though! :)

    KP.... just a reflection here.

I wasn't convinced about Saban and Bama after their first NC win over Texas in 2010 but I have to say that now....two years and two drubbings of Florida later that I have been thoroughly convinced about Saban's abilities and I would think his legend deserves to take at least a place alongside the Bear if not a notch higher.

I say higher.... and yes... actually I think it should be that way because the Bear had the luxury of 100 man rosters and complete dominance in football recruiting because of many factors.... not the least of which is that without the internet and ESPN it must have meant a lot to any recruit in those days when the Bear said come be on CBS and have your mama watch you play... etc.

Hats off to Saban..... he's a special coach.

Apologies to KP and Bryan but this was too funny to pass up. We need to start an off season joke topic. Lord knows there are aenough around about Tennessee after the last several years!

    MCG,
If Saban sticks around for 25 years, wins 5 or 6 NC's, and endures all of the changes that Coach Bryant had to go through then we can talk about this again.

    Tom,
I think those Alabama fans are probably sitting in those "Reclining chairs" watching a replay of Alabama winning last year's National Championship game. Where were the Tennessee fans?  :D
