Most of you guys are fans of schools that haven't been in a bowl drought so you probably don't appreciate how nice it is to be rejoining the ranks of the "eligible"... At this point I don't care where we go, I just want to see my guys play in the post season!
Congrats! Looks like you guys are going to take 9 teams into the bowls. What's important is that you got eligible in the much more difficult B12South. You showed a lot of improvement this year and it is good to see A&M back on path to the post-season.
I was talking to my nephew about this last night. I noted that Tate Forcier and the Mich kids were desperate to be bowl eligible at 6-6, my nephew was as happy as you to be bowl eligible at 6-6 and doesn't care if it's the Tidy bowl. You watch if (when) Stanford beats us, many ND fans will holler that we shouldn't bother to go to a bowl. They were that way last year, some even were upset that we were playing a bowl on Christmas eve....most weren't nearly as upset after the Irish torched Hawaii!
