21 American KIAs in the last 48 hours. This is ramping up big time and getting the distinct feel of Vietnam.

Long past time to have packed up and come home. It's a damn shame those young men have to have lost their lives trying to give freedom and order to a country that prefers dope farming, war lords, and a Iman dominated Islamic state.

The mission to oust the ruling government of Afghanistan in 2001 was a success but the mission of turning Afghanistan into a peaceful nation capable of sustaining itself seems like a lost cause.

And tonight Obama will take full credit for winning the war in Iraq and getting all the combat troops out. Yes, the same Obama who voted against the war initially, who voted against a funding requests for the war and who ridiculed the notion that a troop surge would work.

MSNBC's Maddow posted a list of Republicans who were convinced Sadam had WMDs. The feeling that Sadam had them and would use them was near univeral as he had gassed thousand of Kurdish men, women and children.
As far as Dems positions on WMD. The following is instructive.
