Jif's down to 1 team now!

GMU is on a great run, and it's incredible that a UConn team with as many as 4 1st Round draft picks on the floor couldn't beat them.

    Gay
    Armstrong
    Williams
    Boone

Dennham Brown will be a 2nd round choice.

I don't want to denigrate GMU by saying UConn played down to the competition. But they should have blown them away, on paper they had far more talent.

UConn was overrated and never should have been there. I'd think twice about drafting any of those clowns on the first round. The refs desperation to get SOME eastern team in the Final Four backfired and opened the door for Cinderella...

Thats a very hungry Patriot team indeed. Coached by Former Providence College Star Jim Larranaga. If Florida wins , We will have two teams coached by PC players ( Billy Donovan) squaring off against each other in final 4. jif

That's interesting info, Joel. It'll make a good story in Indy during the week. The GM coach is a cool guy, IMO. I see that Dave Gavit was his college coach.

You have to love this George Mason team. They certainly play with a lot of heart and gusto.

They seem to be well coached and definitely have proven themselves to be giant killers in this tournament.
