That was the declaration made by Rece Davis on Gameday Final. Would you agree with this statement? If so, why?
Why??? Most of the games were SEC vs SEC. The games where the SEC went out of conference were desasters: Vandy was beaten by Army and Mississippi State was beaten by Houston. Yes, there were some big games but one of them, the unranked underdog won and dropped the ranked team. Tennessee destroyed Georgia who had a better record than we did. Overall, the status of the SEC probably dropped because of yesterday's games. Just my opinion... But I'm Happy!!! 8)
Tom, I was just curious. The media reports at the end of the day were gushing about the quality and stock of the SEC rising and to me it seemed like this weekend just confirmed the SEC is a 2 horse race.
Hard to see teams other than Bama and UF getting to Atlanta Tom with the way things look. I could see SC pulling a stunner in Nov. over UF if they needed to win to get there because of the ol Ball coach in a one game chess match-up but they could not lose again till then for that to be a possibility.
