Here's an interesting article about Intel and their ability to provide single cable channels to viewers. I don't know about the rest of you but there are some channels that I never watch that just take up space in the program guide. I imagine that there are a lot of folks out there that don't watch sports and would love to not have the ESPN group of channels on their list. I think, eventually, totally customized cable/satellite packages will be the norm. It's just a matter of realizing that people are being forced to pay for/accept unnecessary waste. I'm not sure that will be a good thing though because then you'll just wind up with a more limited selection and Disney will still own all of them.
