I watched the game. UCLA punched KY in the nose early and never let up. I find it interesting that one of UCLA's 3 losses is to Monmouth at home. Based on how they looked last night, UCLA is on its way up in the rankings and KY is on its way down. Monmouth, who also beat USC (don't know what kind of team USC has) obviously can compete effectively against higher level D-1 teams, which takes a small bit of the sting out of ND's loss to them.
Of all the complaints about Kentucky and Cal...I think the academic one is the least, his players last year when they had a mike in front of them were not a bunch of thugs who couldn't put two words together. I was sort of impressed with how well spoken they were and they were gracious to the team they just beat. I know the Harrison Twins from Houston Area were not dumb kids, they were good students.
