    Remember, Stroh's spelled backward is "shorts" . It's earthy flavor was due to the unique method of using boxer shorts as filters during the bottling process..

    Or so legend has it.....

    The water used in Strohs was from the pristine Detroit River. I think the overflow sewage from Wyondotte Chemical's plant contributed to its unique taste.

    Speaking of the Cleveland Indians...

    I was watching the MLB player draft tonight and I see that the Indians drafted Grant Hockin of Damien HS in the 2nd round, with the 61st pick. Grant is a friend of my grandson who has already said that he would prefer to go to MLB, rather than UCLA. He won't come cheap, but he's very advanced for a high school player. He's a grandson of Harmon Killebrew and his high school program is one of the best too...
