Michigan State lost to UCLA last night in OT in the First Four round. I am confident Coach Izzo is an unhappy camper this morning, after leading almost the entire game in regulation.

I didn't watch the MSU/UCLA game but I really thought Izzo had the team ready at the end of the year.

Oral Roberts upsets Ohio State 75-72 in OT to eliminate the Buckeyes in Round 1. They outplayed us for most of the game. We had out opportunities but it always seems like we our our own worst enemy with turnovers, poor passing routes and today poor foul shooting when it counted most. A very discouraging end to the season for Buckeye fans!:(

I sure understand how you feel.

I do think though that the Gators now have a much better chance of advancing to the Sweet 16. We will see.

Purdue not looking good at half. Might be a real Black Friday for me.

Who'd have figured Wisconsin would carry the day for the Big 10?

Ugly day for the ACC. Virginia Tech, Clemson, UNC, and Georgia Tech bounced out on day 1

One of the good stories for the tourney will be Texas Andrew Jones who 2 years ago was diagnosed with leukemia. Basketball suddenly wasn't that important. Now he's back and healthy and was a big part of the Texas season and into the NCAA Tournament.

Unfortunately a good nights sleep did not diminish our loss in the first game of the tournament.:)

Interesting stat shown during the Purdue-N. Texas game. Not meaning it as an excuse cuz we really played sloppy...but for the entire season Purdue's freshman played 49% of the team's minutes...and seniors of course 0% (since no seniors). N. Texas seniors played 79% of the team's minutes during the season. That's quite a difference and the game just looked like....experience vs. youth. I hope that bodes well for our future.

Stu, there's no doubt in my mind that Purdue is going to be much improved next year and for a few years to come. Painter is dominating the state in his recruiting, and he has a strong freshman class coming in. The question in my mind is, will Trevion Williams enter the NBA draft? His performance yesterday was subpar for him, so hopefully he'll realize he's not ready. Fingers crossed. They need his inside presence. The loss is terribly disappointing, but IMO there are much better days ahead.

Yeah?....few folks down in the dumps today?....this will make you feel better. In the history of the NCAA tourney.....NEBR has never....NEVER even won one game. The plan is to build a statue one day should that streak ever end. That's my feel good moment for you sufferers out there.

Alabama was in trouble but pulled it out in the last 5 minutes. Win and move on.
