Well honestly, Wisconsin probably had the better argument amongst one loss teams!

Yeah, it happens. This still beats the BCS. I'd rather argue over #4 than #2.

It would suck if my conference had no teams in the playoff.

That said who would bet against an all SEC Final of Georgia vs. Alabama?

Now that said.... I have just jinxed any chance of that happening....

Well if defense indeed does win championships, then Georgia will advance based on the fact they have one.

The other bracket is a little more interesting.
Clemson brings a nasty defense that will equal the Tide... but they also happen to have a good offense.
I think Bama COULD have a good offense, if they'd go back to their old ways.
Jalen Hurts is NOT DeShawn Watson, or Kelly Bryant.
If they use him as a zone read QB, and let the other stallions run the ball... occasionally throwing some play action stuff... yeah they can move the ball on anyone.
But they seem hell bent on being balanced with an "advanced" passing game that Hurts still hasn't mastered.
Do that... and you'll get ironbowl part 2.

    I would Dave.

What happens if your conference goes 0 for the playoffs? Do you get the same treatment in the future that the B1G was given for their last 2 playoff performances?

Corey, every year try to pick the 4 best teams. Not that complicated.

Yeah, not complicated at all...just as long as you put a requirement in there...like "no 2 loss teams" it's a piece of cake...excuse me whilst I schedule some cupcakes.

Sorry man...I told myself I wasn't going to get into this **** this year. Just enjoy being in the playoffs (as I did last year) and quit trying to justify why you belong there instead of somebody else.

I would have picked Alabama as #4 this year...but I think your 2 loss rule is wrong.

well, there's one thing that is certain. There's still a bit of football left to be played.
