Buckeyes win in Lincoln and now share fist place with Michigan State and Michigan, who lost to Arkansas today in a non conference game.

B1G Ten conference play saw Purdue lose at home to Michigan in a hard fought contest last night. Michigan now sets atop the conference standing by 1/2 game.

Buckeyes play Penn State at home tonight and have a chance to tie for the lead. We will face the Wolverines here at 1:00 Sunday. Game will be televised by CBS.

Michigan State gets by Minnesota and Ohio State has easy game at home vs Penn State.

MSU, Michigan and Ohio State remain tied atop the conference. Michigan and Ohio State will meet Sunday in Columbus. Something has to give at that point.

Nebraska nips Iowa in a nip and tuck game last night. Indiana loses to Wisconsin in Kohl Center, who now has won five games in a row.

Excellent second half seals the deal. Lenzelle Smith with another outstanding effort. Gotta love hometown boy playing for the bad guys, M's Trey Burke.....can you imagine the high school team Sully's daddy had at Columbus Northland???? Burke at the point, Sully in the middle and our own JD Weatherspoon at one of the forward spots???? Wow.....

Unannounced company today prohibited me from seeing how this turned out until just a few minutes ago.

Not a premier game by the Buckeyes, but good enough for the win. Michigan is a very much improved squad this year.Lenzell Smith proved to be very valuable this afternoon.

Michigan played well and made us look bad in the paint defensively several times. I really like Trey Burke as a point guard. He is a real competitor.

With the Spartans losing to Illinois in Champaign last night 42-41, Ohio State is now alone in first place with a 1/2 game lead. Wisconsin had their hands full in Happy Valley, but pulled out the win.

We will face Wisconsin at Kohl Center Saturday. That always seems to be a difficult place to play for the Buckeyes. Go Bucks!

I erred in a a previous post stating we only had one shot at Michigan State. We will play them home and away. The final game of the season may be for the conference title.

Spartan loss last night might not be the biggest news. Draymont Green went down with an injury late in the game and this could be a big loss to the Spartans.

I saw that also Gip, he is a great player. His loss would be devastating to Sparty. I hope the big fella is back in action soon....

I hope he is ok. Knee injuries have been devastating to Purdue the last couple of years...FB and both Men's and Women's BB.

I hope the IZZONE students in East Lansing who were taunting Robby Hummel about hoping he reinjured his knee see it from a different perspective now.

Latest report is not tear in the knee just a sprain. Might be good to go vs Mich.
