Anybody going to bother to watch? I read that both teams were unable to sell their allotments of tickets and will lose over 1 million dollars playing in the game. Going to be a lot of empty seats.

I've got a lot of Big Bang Theory reruns qued up to run tonight instead of the Orange Bowl.

Talk about a major upset! I just check the score and could not believe what I was seeing on the scoreboard. (ESPN)

I've never seen so many empty seats at bowl games as I have this year. The fiasco in San Francisco between Illinois and UCLA drew only 26,000 and this pathetic excuse for a major bowl game last night was no Orange Bowl. I don't know what it was. I fell asleep.

Both teams lost money going to that bowl.

Some of the best bowls I saw in terms of looking like there was a big crowd (sellout or near sellout) were the Alamo Bowl and the Champs Bowl. Sugar Bowl looked like it was a big crowd, as did the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowls.

I think in years that the Orange Bowl does not get the BCS Champ game they struggle because they are tied to the ACC/Big East.
