    - SoCal overrun with Germans...again.

    - Everyone avoids Ducks fans. They wear Elmer Fudd hunter caps and blow duck calls. It's assumed that they're dangerous, because their culture simply doesn't compute here. Maybe if they were cartoons we could understand them better...

    - I have spies at the parade...

    - It's the Beer vs. Marijuana Bowl...

    - Occupy the Parade will attempt a protest at the very end of the parade, which has the potential to p!ss off a great many people. More than 1.5 million people are expected along the parade route; nearly all of whom have been drinking all night to stay warm. This is a powderkeg ready to blow...

It's a perfect day in Pasadena. Not a cloud in the sky and the forecast is for sunshine all day. Temperatures at parade time (8:00AM) will be 57 degrees rising slowly to 80 degrees by noon. The game will be played from 2:00-5:30, with temperatures beginning at 81 degrees for the kickoff, and slowly falling to around 68 degrees as the sun sets behind the mountains. It's perfect.

Both Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowls should be great games.

There is starting to be a thought that complicated option offenses like what Ga.Tech run and what the Oregon Ducks run are very difficult to prepare for during the season and that is why they have been so successful, but when given a month to prepare for not so much. The Ducks have all the speed on their side, but will the Badgers have seen all the tricks on film so much that they won't work no matter how fast the Ducks are? Will Chip Kelly fall prey to what Corey says he's done in the games vs Auburn and LSU, ie..not run his offense like he did in the season?

What was the marketing change with Budweiser that caused them to withdraw?

Hopefully the Occupy people don't ruin this for people.

Defensive TD for Wiscy. Could be huge in a game like this.

    From Wiki.

A winged helmet is a helmet decorated with wings, usually on both sides. Ancient depictions of the god Mercury and of Roma (personification of the city) depict them wearing winged helmets, however in the 19th century the winged helmet became widely used to depict ancient Celtic, Germanic and Viking warriors. It was also used in romantic illustrations of legendary Norse gods and heroes. The motif, along with the Horned helmet, became a clichéd signifier of the "barbarian" Northern warrior.

No mention of Striped helmets! 8)
