We get Florida (already known) and LSU at Kyle. I hope they kill the Arkansas game being at Jerry World. One last non-con to fill in. Probably be some Div 2 school with this late notice... Sep 1 - McNeese St Sep 8 - Florida Sep 15 - SMU Sep 22 - TBD Non-Con game Sep 29 - Arkansas - Location TDB Oct 6 - at Ole Miss Oct 13 - Open or Non-con TBD Oct 20 - LSU Oct 27 - at Auburn Nov 3 - at Miss St Nov 10 - at Alabama Nov 17 - Open or Non-Con Nov 24 - Missouri
Since you only play Fla, Ark, LSU, Bama, at Auburn and at MissSt I see no reason you can't add a nice travel game like say....at Michigan, etc. 8)
For all the talk here about how soft the SEC non-conference schedules are - and generally they are - a reasonable person has to admit the overall toughness of the conference when you look at A&M's inaugural conference schedule.
Since outside teams Arkansas and South Carolina joined the SEC in 1992 SC has won their division once and Arkansas twice but neither has won the SEC Championship. Wimpy conference..... Good luck Scott......you'll need it! 8) In the interim how about beefing up that non-con schedule just to make things more difficult.....that would be a nice thing to do....
Sid has it right as far as SEC schedules. As usual a very insightful person. Here's the Gator Schedule. Se start our SEC schedule at College Station and end it playing Mizzou in the Swamp.
