Maybe in all of sports all time. I read that Notre Dame accumulated a total of three yards in punt return yardage this year. In fact, the Irish did not even attempt to return a punt in the final seven games of the year.
one thing at a time George, we're obviously on the right track. When we hash out the quarterback nonsense, we'll worry about punt returns.. tackling.. ya know, the other stuff
Krebsie, did a little bit of research on this issue and I think I discovered the problem....give it a minute or so.... <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/G-iCIS3vttI?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/G-iCIS3vttI?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Recorded at the Compton Ice arena at ND. I believe that they are ND players. Because of the length of the pass I rule out Rees as the QB.
That was on today at 3PM on NBC, I mostly was watching the Denver game but caught the last 10 minutes during the Denver halftime. It was a good show, played to a packed house and Chicago did 25 or 6 to 4 with the ND band which was cool and they finished with all the skaters going around saluting the crowd to the Notre Dame Fight Song. From the reaction over on NDNation you'd have thought it was a freakin' Hitler Youth Rally and ND should have never allowed it, that it was embarassing...the football part at least. There is pretty much never ending criticism of pretty much anything ND does over there though.
Take my advice, not visiting ND Nation will be a plus to you. I haven't visited there in more than a year and somehow, I feel as though I haven't missed one important thing. It's a click of inbreads that demonstrates why that results in genetic abnormalities. Read less, enjoy more.
I can't get on to NDNation anyway...or Schwab...or Ebay...or... re: three smegging yards Kudos to Scott for catching my Red Dwarf reference! For those of you who have never read it, Red Dwarf is the funniest book that I've ever read. I laughed out loud on almost every page. I even got a dirty look from a judge when I was reading it during jury selection and snorted out a snicker that I could no longer contain...
Bootleg film shows that this problem is being addressed .... <r><iframe width="420" height="315" src="<URL url="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QFbkVVQr59g">http://www.youtube.com/embed/QFbkVVQr59g</URL>" frameborder="0"></iframe></r>

re: Stooges at Gilmore Stadium Gilmore Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Los Angeles, California. It was opened in May 1934 and demolished in 1952, when the land was used to build CBS Television City. The stadium held 18,000. It was located next to Gilmore Field. The stadium was located west of Curson Avenue, surrounded by Beverly Boulevard, Fairfax Avenue and Third Street. The stadium was built by Earl Gilmore, son of Arthur F. Gilmore and president of A. F. Gilmore Oil, a California-based petroleum company which was developed after Arthur struck oil on the family property. [1] The area was rich in petroleum, which was the source of the "tar" in the nearby La Brea Tar Pits. The NFL played it's All-Star game there in 1939 (Packers vs. NFL All-Stars) and in 1940 (Bears vs. NFL All-Stars.)
