    Connor Halliday threw for 494 yards, a WSU and Pac-12 freshman record. He is 6-4, 179 lbs. out of Spokane. His first pass went for 85yds and a score. His third 27yds, his fourth 31yds. At one time he was on the scout team, brouht up because on injuries to starters.

    I thought the kid was great. He spread the field and negated the stout ASU LB corps.
