Alabama's offensive scheme confuses me. Why throw two yard passes to wr's when you have one of the best rb's in the country? And I guess I should be happy we can still kick extra points. :?
I think they are trying to establish the WRs the way they did Julio that kept teams from stacking 8 in the box without requiring your QB to make a stupid read into coverage. The problem is, you don't have that Julio type WR.

Bama is in a position that they just need to win, I don't think even a 1 point win vs Georgia Southern would cause them to lose support in the polls.
KP, I hear ya. I think it's a case in which the DBs can play 7 yards off the ball and let the front 7 stack the box. They are trying to sucker them into tightening up the coverage or pull men out of the box. I'm with you though. Between Lacey and Richardson, there's almost no need to be cute.
