We were favored by 29 points?? Indiana scored the first 10 points and we had to play catch up.

A couple early miscues (fumbles) and some very lax defense, sort of set the tone for what was to follow.

Braxton Miller had a good day with his feet and both Herron and Hyde had over a 100 yds rushing. Hyde was filling in for Jordan Hall.

Score was tight going in to the 4th quarter and based on what our defense has allowed in scoring in the final quarter, was not a good omen.

Bad news of the day was that our offensive line allowed six sacks!

Its a win but we had better be ready to play at Purdue next Saturday!

Might be a case of looking ahead to Purdue! But seriously IU is pretty bad, doubt if coaches spent a lot of time getting the Buckeyes all lathered up to play IU. So they come out a little flat and the game is closer than expected. Still a W and your young QB gets more valuable experience including bringing his team from behind on the road.

    Congrats on the win.

    Don,

this defense continues to underperform....they are young but the season is half over, these kind of gaffes shouldn't be happening with such regularity. I can't remember a defense giving up more big plays 20+ yards ever.....the offense is coming along now with Boom, Adams and Philly Brown back and the kid QB making progress every week. I don't worry about the offense so much, but their is no excuse for the defense.

We miss Nate Williams alot but Simon and Hankins are playing well up front and Roby is a bright spot and has a chance to etch his name as the next great Buckeye corner....and there have been alot. The linebackers are as pedestrian a group as we've had in years and i would trade both safeties for the kids at New Hanover High.....but a win is a win.

Still looking good for a date in Indy.....
