Bear and the Math Challenged Alabama fans go hand in hand... so Bear13 makes sense... If it was Beer13, that would indicate to me that it's an LSU fan since I am fairly certain that cajuns have a baker's dozen of cold beer for breakfast on gameday. Hope this helps.
haha I do. I really do. When I first moved here, it was unbearable. (no pun intended) As time has gone on, I just dish it as good as it comes in. Most Alabama fans generally avoid the subject of Notre Dame with me now and we just talk football in general.
It's not surprising that 2 of the oldest and tradition-rich college football programs also have the most "dedicated" (you know what that means right?) fans. Fun stuff!
It really is. One of the treats of living in the South is really getting to know LSU fans. Rich/poor, it doesn't matter. They are this rabid, drunken zombie nation when it comes to the Tigers. They are annoying, classless and loud. They go from zero to drunk in world record time, but unlike other drunks, they manage to stay afoot and just get louder as the day goes on. Still, they are fun to watch when you don't have a dog in the fight and good lawd are they funny.
And as long as you don't have to walk back to your car after the game in Baton Rouge. Those folks can be dangerous, win or lose.
I've actually experienced this with my ex-wife years ago when DiNardo was their coach. They were the friendliest fans ever at the pre-game tailgate. To a man (or woman) they were looking for a fight after the game. As docile as the Irish fanbase on game day can be at times, that's still the wrong crowd to pull that nonsense.. There's a whole lot of NYC/Chicago to the ND fanbase. This ain't Oxford.
