errr..Buckeyes. Those 3 players you thought were getting back....well you won't! I think I'm putting my 20 points on the Huskers this weekend. Buckeyes Suspensions extended
That makes two of us! Do not be surprised if the current AD is gone before this is all over.
I think that is a safe bet.....I'm so sick of those guys, they just need to be shown the door and we'll stay home for the holidays. WTF?
Oh no my friend.....your team has a date in the Gator Bowl vs. the soon to be 6-6 or at best 7-5 Gators. It will great to see our two teams put their best foot forward....
If you play any three of Minnesota, Indiana, Purdue, and Northwestern, even if you lose the rest, which is unlikely, you will be bowl eligible.
I think somebody needs to turn off Gordon Gee's mike when he's asked about football... Although I do hear he's made friends with the Little Sisters of the Poor after that gaff! Poster Child
Just remember this guys: Remember how you felt dealing with NCAA investigations, right or wrong, against your institutions. I remember ours like it was yester... oh, that's right, it was relatively yesterday. Report the facts but don't get too many jollies at the expense of the OSU fans on this board.
Tom, You are absolutely right! I, too, have been there, and it is much better to wait and see. The NCAA does what it wants to, to whom it wants to, when it wants to.
I have tremendous respect for our OSU posters and really wasn't looking to lampoon them or anything. If they were offended I certainly didn't intend to and apologize sincerely.
NO, Terry... I don't think that was happening and certainly was not contacted by anyone. Just a friendly reminder before that happened. Remember, I am an Engineer. I see a Statistical Process Control chart starting to rise to 1 sigma and I sound an alarm to make sure that the upper control limit is not violated! 8)
For what it may be worth, I certainly have no quarrel with any of the comments, about OSU and our current problems on this forum. Granted it has been a difficult year for the Buckeye Nation, but we will survive.
I have no quarrel with anything anyone posted here. Terry, Gee has done a lot for the university. I think what he was trying to say in his usual foot-in-mouth way is that all of the infractions have been self-reported. NCAA investigators have found no infractions that were not already reported by the compliance department (as far as I understand the situation.) Having said that...where is the ongoing monitoring of things? I understand that you can't follow these kids around all of the time but our compliance department seems to have done a lousy job of policing things...and I am tired of all the lame excuses and "it's not my fault" stuff. I think some of these folks need to go.
I don't think the SEC and Big Ten have given up their agreement with the Cap One. It would probably be more like Michigan vs. Arkansas or ??? If Arkansas doesn't step it up and finish strong the SEC may have a 4 loss team in the Cap One. Ha....I figured it out....you mean the Orange Bowl..... As for UF.....the Gator Bowl took a 6-6 Michigan last year so I figure the Buckeyes and Gators could very well be a dream match-up for that bowl committee. RE: the NCAA......I am president of the "Don't Throw Stones" organization when it comes to NCAA troubles......and poster child of the national campaign slogan "The NCAA WANTS YOU" ..... 8)
I find it hard to believe you are a true-blood Engineer. You used WAY too many words to describe that. I would have expected a real Engineer to have said it thusly: "SPC KPIs trending to 1o, alarm initiated to verify UCL intact."
I had to "dumb it down" for the doctors, lawyers, and nurses on the board!   I actually started that out as: I see a SPC... nah, I better spell that one out. 8)
