It seems that this is going on more and more. I have no idea what is causing this one. Terry got one that was also sent to me. The reply to address in the detailed header was Tom McCord but with Cindy's e-mail address.. Please, people, do not trust links in e-mail from anyone. If I actually do send something, the body of the message will not simply be "Hello!" After having that e-mail account for over 20 years, I am considering closing it. I will NOT be sending anything from that account again. I am going to set Cindy up with a Roadrunner account so she can discontinue use of Earthlink as well.
Just changed my e-mail on The Skybox. Created Cindy an account on austin.rr.com. Will change her address on The skybox when I post this. Everyone... please delete earthlink addresses for Cindy and I. Block them from your e-mail. Those addresses will be cancelled as soon as I get automated statements converted over.
Everyone in my address book will receive notification this weekend to delete our Earthlink addresses. This will be coming from austin.rr.com address.
I recently had a similar thing happen with my email, embarrassingly to a few individuals here. I ended up scanning and cleaning with my active virus protection, online with MicroTrend's housecall, then Spybot S&D, then Lavasoft AdAware, changed my email password, changed my email security questions, removed the email account from my mobile phone, and changed my network security. I haven't had a repeat occurrence, so who knows which, if any of these, was the cure. The reason I removed my email account from my mobile phone is because I noticed it had connected through my network the night of the emails when I was asleep, and no other night like that. My guess is a worm through the app, but not sure.

AJ, you're a baaaaaaaad boy. Another change: I consulted with a few people and a recommendation was made to not use the master account for every day e-mail. So, I have discontinued use of the tmccord1 account and created a new tommccord account. It is registered here now. I also sent an e-mail from that account to everyone in my address book.
:lol: I swear AJ... it was a little embarrasing it went to my family members and my friends. But it was my fault I know he always send a note w. anything he sends me. I was tired and opened it. and AJ they are far more conservative than Jim and I are. .... PS.. what makes you think Joco needs any help/
