I really want to put a beat down on these guys, we owe them! But not likely to happen, oh I think we'll win, but it'll be a tough game. We'll be rotating 2 inexperienced QB's in Case McCoy a Soph with little game experience beyond what he got last week vs BYU and David Ash who is a true freshman. The good news is Malcolm Brown will start and this kid is the real deal at RB. Oh yeah did I say I strongly dislike Skippy?
8) UCLA owns the whole state of Texas...from cotton to cattle. Slicky Ricky had trouble with San Jose State last week at the Rose Bowl, so if he loses to Texas, that will be the end for him...
Well we're coming to get it back!! gulp I hope! BTW: The Cattle industry is nearly dead in the state of Texas due to the severe drought. Many think it will never come back because the old boys who built it and maintained are gone or going. Younger dudes not that interested. I of course was not around for the Dust Bowl, but with long range forcasts saying no rain this year and none in the 1st half of next year. I wonder if we will be the new Dust Bowl. Got room for more Okies and Texans in So.Calif?
Sept 18, 1971 Texas 28 UCLA 10 UCLA holds the series lead 3-2. The previous year, Texas had beaten UCLA 20-17 in Austin. Since then. UCLA 66 Texas 13 in 1997 UCLA 49 Texas 31 in 1998 UCLA 34 Texas 12 in 2010.
This should be the end of the line for Skippy. Not only did he lose to a Texas school, but he lost to two of them in the same season and got blown out of the Rose Bowl to boot. His reputation as an offensive guru is now shattered for good, amid the evidence that he simply can't win without cheating...
I did 't get to see it of course but it was very nice to see that score Harsin might have found his Qb yesterday! McCoy to Shipley part deux! OU doesn't look impossible now!
I watched until it was apparent UCLA didn't have anything to counter tu. It was ugly early. It was ugly late. It was ugly most of the time in the middle, too.
