that's a lot of huff and puff considering that the Irish are coming.

I leave for Chatham, cape Cod at 0900. A little R&R and hopefully some decent bass fishing.

The Irish game last week was a mirage. The stats say that they should have won by 30 yet turnovers and an out of control HC negated that.

Michigan did not look that crisp against WMU and the defense still looks iffy to me.

With all due respect to Bobda, if the Irish protect the ball and Machine Gun Kelly maintains his sanity, the score will be:

    ND-37
    Michigan-17

Big stakes for ND if you take seriously the points made in this article:

This may be a real long night. Rees is carving us up and the Irish are dominating the line of scrimmage.

Maybe not Bobda, he threw 2 picks in the first half and it looks like your blitzes are having an effect. We need to adjust at half.

But inspite of the 2 picks, I like the 1st half, mainly because for the most part we contained Denard. If we can do that the second half I like our chances.

Nice check off by Rees. 24-7 Irish. I wonder if RR would be willing to come back as our OC?

24-14 4th Qtr. 2 incredible plays by Robinson..one a long pass with a Irish defender holding on to him and then we stuff the FB, he fumbles and Robinson scoops and scores!! Last week that play goes the other way for a TD. What ever happened to the Luck of the Irish!!

I can't believe it. Congrats Bobda! In the end we didn't contain Denard Robinson. Unbelievable. I don't know how this team will come back from this loss in time to be ready for a tough physical MSU team.

I thought we were going to overtime. Everyone thought with seven seconds to go, Michigan would move it to the middle of the field, kick the FG and send it to overtime. But no. Michigan scores the TD.

    Notre Dame is snake bit.

I know Irish fans are devastated and Michigan fans are ecstatic, but this was the most fun game of several fun games to watch today.

Congratulations Bobda, and we will have to see if Notre Dame can come back from this unbelievable loss next week.

All I can say is Wow.

Ugh... that was some ugly pass _efense by both team's of DBs in the second half.

The Irish did have that nice INT in the endzone, but otherwise... Ick.

Fun game to watch with no dog in the fight tho!
