I think you're right George. We'll see a lot of Nix in the mix.

    Get out.....that's not for real.

These guys play UF in the non-con only last season and now are picked by ESPN to beat an improved Notre Dame team in South Bend?
They aren't even Florida State either!

Hey....by the way my oldest son now is enrolled at USF for his masters degree so.....GO Bulls!!

Harrison Smith was named 1st team AA by SI.com. Suprised that Floyd or Te'o weren't named.

    SI.Com Preseason AA team

You're god damned right they aren't Florida State.

South Florida has never lost to Florida State, beating them in 2009 17-7 in Tallahassee. Now that might not seem like much since the Irish pounded FSU the last time they were in Tallahassee (led by Ty 'What Hole Is It' Willingham), but I hear from all my Florida fans that the Seminoles get sky high when teams from Florida are in the stadium.

As for this game, if we don't win, I'm going to be pissed. They are scrappy and athletic. They are a very physical team. They load up with a lot of partials typically and if they have a weakness, it's usually at some skill spots. One thing is for certain, they are always physical.

They are scrappy and athletic. And ND schools them by 38-13. Minimum.

Well we don't always get to play the Florida schools and the Big East. We do what we can though.

I don't blame you for trying to make this about Florida.. if I played that schedule, I'd want to talk about something else too. A whole bunch of shitty teams and the good teams are ones you stand almost no shot at beating.

Will you be putting on your Bulls shirt for the game? Will you make a prediction? Or will you do the passive aggressive shuffle right along with the game so you can say 'I told you so' either way?

You might have missed it.......visited my son and his wife for dinner last night.....1/2 mile away from the USF campus as he has started his masters program there.

I have to be a Bulls fan unless they are playing the Gators......like the two did last year.

I have to feel for all of you Notre Dame followers this morning. Turnovers can change the complexity of the game with just a couple of key turnovers. Creating five is a killer. Hopefully better days are ahead for the Irish.

It's clear they do. What is important is how you deal with adversity. Our coach doesn't deal with adversity well, ergo, our team doesn't. This won't change unless he changes.
