First one of these I've experience. Buck T and JIF should have something to say as well. Everybody is standing outside here..... happened here at the Jersey shore at about 2:00P ET 5.9.

 Now you know what it is like to live here you just never know... I have been watching the stock channel when it hit... Priceless.... Just be cautious. stay away from brick buildings and watch those power poles. Like I told you and Jiff I am glad you are Ok ... Hugs.

My advice is to just give up. All of your buildings are made of bricks and your power lines are hanging directly over your heads. You're doomed...

This reminds me of the time that a tornado appeared in Orange County. Everybody ran outside to see it...

I wonder how George W. Bush caused this one?

Here's the scary thing. The nuke plants up in the East Coast/NY/NE area are built to withstand a 6.0 earthquake....think about it...it was a 5.8 or 5.9 I forget which.

 what I found amazing is that none of the buildings are built w. any earthquake safety guidelines, they didnt know how to react. they all went outside. of course now if we get tornado's everyone here goes outside to watch or drive towards it. Our power plant here can with stand a 8.0 and a 30 ft wave in case, but there are no faults directly under our plants even though they tried to say that when Japan had theirs ,,,, But I just thought a higher being was mad at everything that was going on and he needed to send a reminder who really is the boss... Made people stop and maybe think who really is in charge. Glad no real damage if there had been it would have been Bush's fault anyway

That photo is really getting some play around the net. I wonder where it as taken, we'll probably find out it was taken by a guy in Pomona in his back yard! :)

President Obama has just confirmed that the DC earthquake occurred on a rare and obscure fault-line, apparently known as "Bush's Fault".

Obama also announced that the Secret Service and Maxine Waters will continue an investigation of the quake's suspicious ties to the Tea Party.

Conservatives announced however have proven that it was caused by the founding fathers rolling over in their graves once again.

George, Jif and the Barclays Golf tournament are squarely on Irene's path. BuckT might get luck with winds and rain.
