Pretty much dominated by SEC games for sure.

LSU, UGa, Fla, Ala, and ND only teams on the list twice.

I wonder if this list is based on face value or scalper prices. I'm thinking it's scalper prices, because the face value of an ND/USC ticket (at ND) is $80, and the face value of an ND/MI ticket (at MI)is $85.

Could be the most expensive at face.

The Arkansas game has $300 face value tix in the good seats... which is about 35-40% of them!

The cheapest I saw were $125 last time I looked.

And Terry is correct... I REFUSE TO PAY THAT EXTORTION!!!

My brother paid $400 a piece for good Alabama LSU seats for this November.

That makes sense. Scott, I know that other schools have different price tiers based on seat location, but the ticket price at ND is the same, no matter where the seat is located.

Sid, I didn't know that those seats on the 40 cost the same as the endzone seats that I always end up with. :)

Gip, roughly how many times over the years have you gotten tickets on or near the 50, say, between the 40s? It's happened for me somewhere around 6-7 times.

My memory is fuzzy. I can't remember the exact number of times. For a long time, I was putting my apps together with classmates who lived far away and did not go to every game. For example, using that method, I had 4 tickets to a ND-Miami night game back in the early 80s during the Faust era. They were low enough to be no more than 15-20 rows behind the Miami bench. We got drenched that night by a driving rain that fell throughout the second half.

By far, my most memorable "luck of the draw" experience was for the infamous Nebraska game back in the early 2000s. I got two tickets smack on the 50 (visitors side, of course). I refused, as I always have, to sell the tickets to opposing fans, no matter the price. I don't know how many hundreds of dollars I passed up, but I could have cared less. I gave the tickets to my son and daughter and sat in the south end zone with two other tickets. When I walked into the stadium and saw that sea of red, I was angry as hell at the thousands of turncoat ND fans who had sold out. I've never forgotten it. It's forever changed my outlook on the so-called loyalty of Notre Dame fans.
