Wow... At first the talk of an SEC move seemed like just a lot of smoke to curb some questionable things being planned by the Longhorn Network, but the path the LHN has chosen is galvanizing the A&M administration. I'm starting to believe if this last shot across the bow doesn't slow down ESPN, then we will see another conference shift. I think the question now is: Does Texas still have enough control to turn around, or is ESPN at the helm?? A&M Challenges LHN
Good let's get it all worked out so we can move forward. BTW when will the NCAA step in on the State 7 on 7 tourney being held at Kyle? I mean the is pretty much a paid unoffical visit to A&M for the states top HS football players. Huge and unfair recruiting advantage.
LOL... yeah it's very close to the same thing: "Hey Mom and Dad, our 7on7 team gets to play on Kyle Field along with 42 other teams!" "Hey Mom and Dad, our home game this week is going to be on ESPN because Texas is recruiting me!" Yep... definitely Apples to Apples... Oh, and let's not forget that the UIL baseball, and basketball championships are played in Austin...
1. Since the issue is upsetting you guys I'm just fine with not showing HS sports on the LHN. HS games are already on ESPN anyway. 2. You really think that HS games will be selected based on whether or not Texas is recruiting a player or players on the squads? 3. That 7 on 7 tournament at A&M is a huge recruiting tool. And when you guys join the SEC you will no longer be allowed to conduct that on your campus. SEC has outlawed them
