I was on Facebook for about a year. I dropped it because (short version) I concluded that I'm just not a Facebook kind of person. Re: Ireland trip: My wife and I are planning to go to Ireland in 2012 for the ND-Navy game. It will be our first time there. The travel agency arrranging the trip is Anthony Travel, who apparently has the franchise for all Notre Dame tours, bowl games, etc. Our contact for the Navy game trip is a young lady named Allison, but anyone who answers the phone can help. The number is 574-631-1996. There is a tolll-free number, but I don't have it handy.
Sid I'm seriously considering going to the Navy game. Spent a week in Ireland when my daughter Meg was going a semester there. Hit great weather in April. Fell in love with Ballybunion. I'm going to try to do the trip on frequent flyer miles. We'll see.

Tommy Z along with "Brady and "Samardzja were my favorite players of the Weiss era. Tommy Z was relentless and tough as nails. When he got his hands on the ball and their was a crack he was going a long way. Heck that compliation of his highlights didn't even show that game vs Tenn in South Bend were Tommy single handedly destroyed the Vol offense.
  mike i think you are right we talked about it last night said he might consider it. See I knew the only way I would get to Ireland is if the Irish were playing there. Yeah Irish.... He does still have family in Cork and Kerry I will look them up. Stay on it guys, and I will buy you all dinner.

Yes! The only two games that the Four Horsemen ever lost were at Lincoln, Nebraska in '22 and '23.

"Hush a bhuachaill, hush and listen", and his cheeks were all aglow, "I bear orders from the captain:- get you ready quick and soon For the pikes must be together by the rising of the moon" By the rising of the moon, by the rising of the moon, For the pikes must be together by the rising of the moon "And come tell me Seán O'Farrell where the gath'rin is to be?" "In the old spot by the river, right well known to you and me. One more word for signal token:- whistle out the marchin' tune, With your pike upon your shoulder, by the rising of the moon." By the rising of the moon, by the rising of the moon With your pike upon your shoulder, by the rising of the moon. Out from many a mud wall cabin eyes were watching through the night, Many a manly chest was throbbing, for the blessed morning light. Murmurs ran along the valleys like the banshee's lonely croon And a thousand pikes were flashing at the rising of the moon. At the rising of the moon, at the rising of the moon. And a thousand pikes were flashing by the rising of the moon. There beside the singing river that black mass of men was seen, High above their shining weapons flew their own beloved green. "Death to every foe and traitor! Forward strike the marching tune." And hurrah my boys for freedom; 'tis the rising of the moon". Tis the rising of the moon, tis the rising of the moon And hurrah my boys for freedom; 'Tis the rising of the moon". Well they fought for poor old Ireland, and full bitter was their fate, Oh what glorious pride and sorrow, fills the name of ninety-eight! Yet, thank God, e'en still are beating hearts in manhood burning noon, Who would follow in their footsteps, at the risin' of the moon At the rising of the moon, At the rising of the moon Who would follow in their footsteps, at the risin' of the moon.
