This president is so inept, so unprepared, so bereft of even basic leadership skills that it is almost beyong belief that he is in this position.

He should be handing out leaflets at communist party rallies in San Francisco, nothing more.

Well it looks like the last of the gang who couldn't shoot straight is getting ready to leave the administration.

Probably needs more free time to figure out how to properly file his tax returns.

The cost of war can only be measured in terms of human life. Any financial argument for or against war is just silly because honestly, it can and does stir an economy. There is financial reward to war, there always has been.

If you want to curtail spending, reducing the overhead of massive legislative bodies within the US is the best place to do it. I'm all for bringing the soldiers home.. maybe not everywhere.. remember, those US bases are good for the economies in a great many places as well as the perpetuation of security in those areas. If you doubt that, I suggest taking any history course. That being said, it all starts within. George is right, we pay the bills not the government. They work for us, not the other way around. There has been a massive disconnect in American politics for far too long and that needs to end.

    :p
Geithner won't be the last to go. The final goat to be sacrificed will be Joe Biden; probably at the Democratic Convention; with Hillary leaving the State Department to join the ticket. No doubt, the Clintons will exact a high price from the Dear Leader to save his arse...

I think that Geithner is the last of the "financial" advisors left in the administration. Biden is nothing more than comic relief.

But Biden is the one currently charged by Obama with dealing directly with the Republicans over the budget...
