LIKE ANY GOOD GRANDPA WE WERE AT THE SOFTBALL FIELD THIS MORNING AT 8AM BUT WE LOST... ENJOY YOUR DAY GENTLEMEN :
Thanks for the kind words from all us Dads.... My 19 year old son and I did a father son flashback and hit the movies to watch the Green Hornet!!! What can I say were all just really boys at heart...
Green Hornet or Green Lantern? Happy Fathers Day! Did you know America spends more on Mothers Day than they do on Fathers Day!!!
Walked 18 with my youngest son this afternoon so now I feel like dear OLD dad. Good times. Happy day fellas!
I'm thinking that if it wasn't for old comic book hero's we would not have many movies these days... It was ok Terry, not as good as the first Iron Man movie in my opinion but entertaining and a tug on the memory bank from all the comic books I read as a kid...
Thanks Diane. We are in Maine and we did hear from all the kids on Dad's day and then two of our daughters and their families arrived for a week. We will all leave here next Wed to go our separate ways.
I will let her know that Diane. She would have posted more but the Internet connection here is not real good, I am using my iPad with a 3 g connection right. When we get home I imagine she will have more posts. Glad we are enjoying "our" vacation. We sure are and two of our daughters have joined us for the last week.
We leave Wednesday and if all goes well will be home Friday. Then starting Saturday our annual grandkids week starts. We will have six of our grandkids and three of our kids there for the week. All six are teenagers, well one won't be until October but he acts like one. Jeanne will no doubt blog about that.

Enjoy time w the grandkids.
Diane, Before she leaves, make sure she knows that the arm motion done by FSU fans is not the tomahawk chop. A little history lesson: In January 1999, Cindy, Jeff Ramsey (Vol Jeff) and I were walking the streets of Tempe. Ruby Tuesdays was the "Official" party center for the FSU fans and Chilis was the center for Tennessee fans. As we walked by Ruby Tuesdays, there was a cute little co-ed hanging over a chain link fence to get as close as she could to us with her "tomahawk chop". I stepped back and asked her why she would do that. She stated: "You should fear the tomahawk". I told her: "That is not a tomahawk chop... that's First and Ten, Tennessee!!!!!" She was fighting mad as Cindy pulled Jeff and I away with Police moving closer.
