Notre Dame Network?

    There are those who will say that we now have our own network. Let's get that one out of the way.

    It's in the works, probably coming in a few years, as suggested in the article below. Check out the last paragraph of the article. Interesting.

    Texas and Notre Dame almost in the same conference, that's interesting.

    Good logic by Swarbrick. Texas Longhorn Network will most likely endup as a State of Texas only network, but that will reach 90% of the fans. Currently though the Longhorn Network has nobody carrying it, not Directv, not Comcast not AT&T U-Verse....nobody.

    ND fans are nationwide and not heavily concentrated in one state like Texas so an Internet Portal does make a lot of sense. Many people are now adopting portals like Netflix and Hulu.com for viewing of at least some things that previously would have been cable/sat or over the air content. There is even talk that there is enough online content that some may be able to drop their cable contract.
