A new low for the organized labor movement. Protesting at a Special Olympics award ceremony. Standing between the recipients and Gov. Scott Walker as he is honoring them. This is one of the most shameful gutless displays you'll ever see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcuqM1LEi5c&feature=youtu.be
 wow I felt so bad I know how much thse little special cermonies mean to those kids... maybe the protesters should take a day and spend w/ those participating in the special olympics and find out just what it means to them and they have no political agenda , how very sad . and not a good showing for the unions of Wi either. Now they are targeting those who cannt defend themselves. sad very sad
Special Olympics is an organization I have worked with both here in New Jersey as well as in Stuart, Fla. I had an aunt who had Downs. These people are among the gentlest and most sincere folks you will ever meet and the unabashed joy and sportsmanship in these events is something you will rarely see in the "normal" world. Watch that clip closely and tell me which group of people really need help. They brought shame on themselves and their cause. I have two clients here in NJ right across the road from one another. The first is the local electrical workers union the IBEW #800. The other is a new day care facility called the Child Learning Center. When the CLC was being built they made the ultimate sin of not using union electricians in building their facility. The union's answer was to put up a giant inflatable rat in front of the pre-school on their opening day and to put up a billboard on union property that said, and I quote: "Boycott Child Learning" Look out for the union idiot! 8)
I really fear that we are on the verge of anarchy in the US. People have been beaten down for three years now and there is nothing on the horizon to give much hope. Combine that with a Congress that is totally unresponsive to the people, that is a micrcocosim of of society with declining morals and respect for one another and a president who has literally gotten to this point solely on the shoulders of devisive politics and class warfare and you have the recipe for some real bad scenes.
