Shot 42 on the front nine and knee was sore so he with drew. Another set back for Tiger. You do have to wonder if he'll ever be 100% healthy again. Jacks record looks very safe. On the other hand I watched the Golf Channels show on the tournament and WOW...that course is just absolutely beautiful and very tough looking. Not Augusta but very beautiful.
The TPC is one mile from where I did a lot of surfing as a kid at a place called "The Crossroads" off A1-A. I played the course just once.....back early in it's inception and I parred #17 from a two putt of 15 feet. That was pretty exhilirating even then.
Ya know....here's the problem with Tiger.....when he had 13 girlfriends + a wife, he learned how to use time mangement and pace himself. Now he has just (supposedly) a 22 year old girl friend. It's obvious that his focus is used to playing the whole course, and not just gettin' one little birdie.
Exciting finish at the Players. But as Johnny Miller said, Nick Whatney could have won it a million ways...but he didn't. I can't believe though that Toms after making the clutch putt on 18, 3 putted from 15 feet on the playoff hole.
