All of the tunes in the 60's weren't great. Here are some of the worst... The 60's spawned some really weak stuff. Who can forget the 1910 Fruitgum Company. In 1971 I went to a strange double bill in Dayton Ohio featuring Sly and the Family Stone followed by Chicago. The place was packed. Every Pimp and Ho in town was there in full regalia. Sly came out first, almost one hour late. Then they played abbreviated versions of their songs and when people started booing they flipped us all off. That's when the chairs started flying towards the stage. They left hastily at the 40 minute mark. Chicago was not even their yet. 90 minutes later they took the stage to a very hostile yet relieved crowd. They immediately poured gas on the fire by announcing that they would not be playing their hits... instead they were going to play improv jazz. A full riot broke out at this point...... we were home early.
