You guys are worse than my wife...she gets txt msg update every morning from local radio station regarding cheapest gas in area. The only other things she follows are the price of lettuce and toilet paper.
They are starting to put loan officers in all the gas stations in town....for those that need to be approved for a full tank of course. Gas is now officially more expensive than beer/booze.....Don't Drive, just stay home and drink.
3.49 a gallon at the Speedway in Milwaukee. Not sure what toilet paper costs, Stu, but I like the soft, quilted expensive product rather than the thin, sandpaper-like junk my wife used to buy before I informed her that our marriage and my arse were in jeporady unless she upgraded to the high-end stuff.
Me to. Maybe it's a lawyer thing. I'm going on a long auto trip this summer. We're saving the last part of our rolls to take with us on the trip. I'm fighting back with my own paper. Take that Fairfield Inn.
Gas at the Jersey shore is holding steady at $3.39-$3.45 for regular. Washington Times is reporting today that gas prices have doubled under Obama.
All I know is this.. I work for a small business that can't afford to pay a ton of money. I drive an hour and 10 minutes each way to work. I am on the absolute cusp of not being able to afford to go to work anymore. I drive a Honda Accord, I ditched the SUV rides of yesterday... yet I am still barely holding on. This has got to stop. I am far from the only person in this boat. While filling up last week, this precise topic was the discussion around the pumps while watching the $$ roll on the pump.
