I can't even comprehend what the people in the earth quake zone of Northern Japan are going through. The video of the Tsunami is incredible, and now the on the scene reporting showing the devestation. I just wonder how you ever clean up that much rubble.

-Entire towns of over 10,000 people are missing.
-So are many school busses loaded with children.
    - The USS Ronald Reagan was pulled away from the coast today after two of it's helicopters flew through a large radiation cloud.
    - Several nuclear power plants are exploding and at least one may have cracked it's containment vessel.
    - Japan has lost 20% of it's electric power.
    - Survivors in the north have now gone 5 days without foot, heat or water.

This is the worst disaster to befall a developed nation in modern times. The cleanup and rebuilding will take several decades at least...

The General Electric designed nuclear reactors that are blowing up in Japan are identical to 23 reactors here in the United States...including one near Decatur, Alabama...

It matters not the design or designers of the reactor. If pumps are shut off, the reactor core overheats and eventually will fail.

 AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sick of listening to people who talk about California like they understand it........ If and I do mean If that radiation hits us its like sitting in front of a TV for 2 extra hours... for even that to hapen... it has to make it here first... depending on wind rain fog whatever it may not even get here. When the jerk made the comment yesterday Jerry Brown and our Health Dept told everyone he was wrong. no iodine tablets are needed and if taken w/o Dr approval those who have alergeries and other heath issues could be doing more harm than good... / we dont have the same type of earthquakes as Japan Washington Oregon or even the most Northern part of Ca we live on fault lines that shift and thrust our earthquakes dont cause The tusami our largest quake will measure about an 8 (on the San Andreas fault) but all together different ... It amazes me how every news station can have wrong info and they are report different doomsday/ Living in Ca you know what to do in case of earthquakes and usually the most fatalities comes from stupidity not the earthquakes I cant even watch anymore I want to send eachof them duct tape....

Instead of putting it pver their mouths, they would put it over there arse hole and explode in about 10 days. Eventually, the result would be the same... just more messy.

 good idea but wouldnt that be more dangerous than the radiation danger ...... I just wish they would evaporate. Hey maybe we can send them in to repair the damaged cores......

Americans fleeing Japan, don't blame them.

Also this is going to hurt the auto industry. I thought maybe the Nissan/Toyota/etc plants here in the US would have to go to 3 shifts and work 24/7 to help keep the global supply chain filled with Japanese cars. But instead it looks like the opposite as there will be a parts shortage to build those cars.
