I liked the kid Darth Vader ad as everyone else did but the surprise I think was M&M's cool tour of Detroit. Kinda makes me miss the edgy place that it is......almost. Good message though......"imported from Detroit"......
Eminem Detroit ad, the beaver repaying the favor to the driver, and the Budweiser western ad. When Tostitos used animals in their ads, they were funny. When they didn't, they were downright creepy. Many more thumbs down ads this year than any year I can remember. Apparently, the bad economy has taken a huge toll on creativity. Although I'm too old to appreciate the Black Eyed Peas' style of music, I thought they put on a good show. I thought the entire half-time light show production was tremendous.
Maybe like other industries the high priced senior talent has been let go and the lower paid green talent is now in charge of creativity?? Missed the beaver ad......musta been making another cocktail.....
Bet your ass I am bitter. Hey....the lower priced replacement talent isn't doing so well at my old firm either..... ........so eff em..... 8)
I agree with the general sentiment here: most of the ads were not very good. The beaver returning the favor was a good one and I liked the Emmimen Chrysler ad even though even Chrysler product I ever drove spent most of its time being repaired.
I must be too old. Cindy liked it but all I could say was: This is crap... This is crap... This is crap.
If you noticed them and given what old J.B.Browning used to say, they had to be Blue Plates...Iowa?
