Every game we had in that place, I bitched about the roof. The locals assured me the finest engineers in Minnesota were behind it and that it would hold no matter what.. and besides, it had been through many winters.. I knew it.. I knew it.
They should have scheduled a game with Terry's Longhorns there... all that hot air would have kept the roof up for at least this winter.
The trick always was not allowing too much snow to build up. They must use for their snow removal the same outfit that supposed to be doing my driveway. They show up 3 times a season. Once to collect, once to put in the stakes, and once to remove the stakes in the spring. The rest of the winter, I think that they're in Florida.
ha! That's what threw me. The design of the roof had these creases in it that would gather snow. I'd look at that crap in our Feb/March/April games in the Dome and wonder if we're going to die?!?
