Interesting. Mostly down across the board. Shocker was the top 10 most watched games. Not a single B10 game made the list, ND only made it as part of the OU/OK.State package, and 6 of the top 10 involved SEC teams. The single Pac10 game was IMHO sort of an odd one, to my way of thinking not the big game of the year for the Pac10...it was Az/Oregon. It was an important game, but I would have thought the game would have been Stanford/Oregon.

But Terry Haven't I been told more than once that the SEC is only regional and not mainstream? :)

    Just kidding. :)

Well I think the trend reflects the explosive growth of the states in the SEC over the last 20 years.

But never the less given the fact that this was an excellent year for the B10 with 3 teams in the top 10, it's shocking that they didn't have a single game in the top 10 viewed.

I agree Terry, I think it has a lot to do with Michigan being on a down cycle.

To me it's suprising that Ohio State vs Wisconsin didn't make the top 10. It was a great game and certainly an important game and Ohio State was #1 going into that game.

Terry I think one of the reasons Ohio St and Wisconsin didn't make it is because it was not available to everyone. I know that I could not watch it in my area of Florida. Hats off to Alabama though they seem to be the big boys of college ratings...

Look at Boise all the way up at #3. Good thing no one cares about them either. lol

I actually believe CBS does a much better job at presenting their 'brand' than the other 2 networks do.. I think their production values are the standard, and for the record, I can't stand watching CBS games. It's like watching FoxNews or MSNBC for your information. You're clearly getting one side of the story.. That being said, like FoxNews, if you keep it credible and present a better storyline then people are going to watch.

That is exactly what CBS does.

ABC's production value is laughable at times. I mean, really.. can we stand to hear one more lecture on ethics from Craig James? Jesus Christ, it's like listening to Gary Danielson talk about the NFL viability of a QB. At least Danielson brings something to the table and attempts to justify his hyperbole. Oh, and how about another football 101 with Bob Davie? Jesus..
