    Beat me by seconds....

I am not as surprised as I was last year.

This has been one difficult year to watch and at times he just didn't have the passion for it.

If it is true, I wonder if Dan Mullen is talking with the UF AD right now.

I would not be suprised if Meyer has given Foley a heads up awhile ago so he could start making a short list and working back channels to guage interest of his targets.

I wonder if Gruden and/or Stoops will also be targets? :)

Doesn't seem like it's a coach search unless somebody calls those guys and see's if they are interested! :)

I told you guys something was not right. I'm convince he has health issues, physical or mental. Could be stress but he looked miserable all year.

Jim Harbaugh might have a tough decision to make.....very very soon.

Could Florida steal Harbaugh from under Michigan's nose like they did Meyer from Notre Dame???

I think Harbaugh may be headed to the NFL.

While I have no idea what Diamond Jim will be doing in the future...it would seem like rebuilding UM with the roster that RR will leave him will take much longer than rebuilding UF, since he already has a pro style QB in Brantley and the nations #1 QB in Driskell coming soon. You lack running backs, but that could be remedied quickly.

I did read that Stanford has made Harbaugh and offer that he supposedly accepted but not signed, no doubt lots more $$. He's lived on the West Coast for awhile and he did graduate from Palo Alto HIgh School and his 2nd wife is from Palo Alto. I wonder if she's eager to leave the area for the Midwest winters. But one thing for sure Harbaugh is very hot right now ...so he needs to strike while the iron is hot, be it UM, NFL, Stanford or elsehwhere.

    The spread option in Denver???

CFN is suggesting that Meyer could go there.

    Thought about that too Terry.

Foley can be a bear when it comes to demanding his way I understand....and Meyer has said he didn't think there would be any changes in staff.

Is it coincidence that 24 hours after the Pitt head coaching position opens up, Urban Meyer resigns from Florida? I think not.

I believe him because I just don't think he was fully invested this season....and it showed on the field.

Maybe UF survives without him or maybe the next guy is just a bit better than Ron Zook. It's not a given that the next guy will keep the good times rolling. Just ask Texas after Daryl Royal retired, just ask USC before Pete Carrroll got them turned, it's not a given.
