He resigned today according to the Austin American Statesman.

I wonder if he'll ever get another job? 2 other coaches "retired", the DL coach and the OL coach (McWhorter).

There will be joy in Mudville tonight because Davis is out! :)

    Greg Davis Out

Probably only Bobby Bowdens son has been more vilified by a fan base than Greg Davis as far as OCoord go.

It's been said that Texas will open up the purse strings and that money will be no object when it comes to hiring the right guy to be OCoord next year for the Longhorns. They will go after the best very hard.

Maybe you can get that wizard OC from Auburn. After all... it took a lot of work to scheme that talentless offense into action.
He was definitely worthy of the assistant coach of the year award.

Money is on the Boise State OCoord, Mack and the Boise State staff got together last year so they already know each other. I like the Boise State offense, and if the guy wants to be a HC he will be helped by a stint at Texas. Yup...take it to the bank, it's Bryan Harsin!

The other name is the Tulsa OCoord, he was Garrett Gilberts HS Coach and he's done a nice job at Tulsa

Gus Malzahm is also a name that is mentioned.

    I like Bryan Harsin though.
