    Most folks would look at the title and ask, Who's he? He was Al McGuire's successor as head coach of Marquette. He was a highly respected basketball mind and did a great job as head coach for six years, continuing the tradition of excellence established by McGuire.

    You're right I had no idea who Hank Raymond was...following Al McGuire had to be a tough job, wasn't he a long time assistant though for Al?

    I recall Raymond. He was so low key after the bombastic McGuire. He brought his Warrior team to Calahan Hall to play the U of D Titans. It was a big, big win for the locals and coach Dick Vitale.
