I understand why the Cotton did it, but I'm sure there will be some grumbling from the other top XII teams that were passed over.

Heck, I'm not sure this is a good thing for us.
I'd almost rather play a lower tier PAC team than LSU, and be more sure of a win.

Oh well... the deal is done, now I've got a month to get pumped.

(no... I'm not going. I can't justify the $200 tickets right now)

I hope you stomp them into the ground. The "hat" was lucky too many times. aTm should tear them a new one.

I know that we are too far down the SEC list but how would you like a rematch of the 2-Jan-2005 Cotton Bowl?

Tom, the better question is: Would you? :p

    Terry,

That isn't going to happen. It must be a pretty sure thing that Arkansas is going to a BCS game, because the Cotton Committee had already stated they did NOT want that rematch in the same stadium...

Actually I would. With the switch to Tyler at QB and Matt Sims relegated to holder for field goals, I like our chances. I think it would be a highly competitive game that is fun to watch from both sides.

Actually Tom, I'd expect no less.

    I'm glad it's LSU tho...
I kid that I hate the Longhorns, but I don't really. It's a good school, and winning is sweeter when you have a hippie-brother to knock down a peg.

    LSU... them, I HATE.
We have a not-so-happy history with LOSER State, and when they added Lies Miles to the equation, it took it up a notch.
I want the Aggies to stomp a mud-hole in LSU, and walk it dry!!!!

I'm an armchair Aggie fan. When my son was on the team (ND), we went to the two Cotton Bowls vs. A&M in the early 90s. That's when I learned about the passion of Aggie fandom. I came away with great respect for the program.

Also, my former son-in-law's family from Houston is a great bunch. I'm sorry we don't visit anymore. They all are Aggies except for two uncles who went to ND and Texas. They typify the passion of Aggie fans.

Aggies around here are complaining that they can't get any tickets for the Cotton Bowl, that A&M only got something like 2K for the game. Is that right Scott? Hard to imagine that the game is sold out.

Do Cowboy season ticket holders get first shot? Is there a Cotton Bowl Athletic Assn that you can belong to and get tickets?

    I heard we got 12K.
I also heard that the CB was sold out before the teams were announced.

I guess I should put in for mine, and sell 'em!
