I'm predicting a Longhorn win, I think Texas at home will be loose, witlh little to lose. Aggies on the road after 2 huge emotional wins will be tight as a snare drum and have no reserve left in the tank. I think if Texas can score first it's ovah! :)

That said some Aggie jokes are required at this point!! :)

    1.

Two Aggies got their pilot's license, the first 2 Aggies to ever be pilots. Sadly, they died in a crash landing in their very first flight. When the black box was recovered, it was learned the final conversation of the two Aggies pilots:
Pilot: "Gee whiz, that runway looks short."
Co-pilot: "Yeah, but look how wide it is."

    2. Did you hear about the aggie at the stop sign? He's still there?

    3.
What's the difference between a Sooner and an Aggie? When you walk into a Sooner bar in a UT shirt, they grab your nuts. When you walk into an Aggie bar in a UT shirt, they grab their own.

    4. Did you hear about the Aggy who stopped at the sign for a draw bridge and rummaged through his glove compartment for pencil and paper.

    5. How do aggies practice safe sex?
They get rid of all the animals that kick

    6. A gentlemen in a bar asks, who wants to here a aggie joke. Well this big guy stands up and says before you say it, I want you to know that I'm an aggie and these three guys with me are aggies so before you say your joke i want you to think about the consequences that might happen...the guy thinks for a minute and says never mind, i dont want to explain it three times

    7.
A guy's aggy wife has been bugging him to take her deer hunting. So, on a nice cold afternoon, he takes her and sets her up in a deer blind, and starts walking back to their ranch house. On his way back, he hears several shots, so he runs back to the blind. He sees his wife's rifle sticking out of the blind, and in the clearing he sees a man with his hands up saying, "Okay, lady, it's your buck! It's YOUR buck! Just let me get my saddle of it!!"

    8. A young boy is on the swingset at the park when he is approached by a stranger who tells the boy his is kidnapping him. He then gives a ransom note to the boy and tells him to go home and give it to his dad, which he does. His dad then reads the note as follows:

"I have kidnapped your son. Place $100,000 in a briefcase under the oak tree by the swingset in the park or you will never see your son again. Signed: A aggie"

The next day the kidnapper checks under the oak tree and finds the briefcase with the ransom money inside, along with the following note:

""Here is the ransom money you demanded. But let me tell you, this sure is a sorry thing for one aggie to do to another."

    9. A graduate of Texas Agricultural and Mechanical is in a bar in Alaska bragging about how great a state Texas is, and more importantly how aggy represents the best and brightest Texas has to offer. Finally one of the natives has had enough. He tells the aggy, "Listen, son, every man in this bar can down a fifth of whiskey in one gulp, wrestle with a grizzly bear, and make love to an Inuit woman all in one night.

The aggy walks up to the bar, orders a fifth, downs it in one gulp, and blinking back tears staggers to the door, announcing he's on his way to find a bear.

Three hours later, the aggy stumbles back into the bar. His clothes are torn to shreds, one of his shoes is missing, and he has bite and claw marks covering his body. Bloodied but unbeaten, he triumphantly states, "Now ... where's that eskimo woman you dared me to wrestle?"

    10. Aggie math class is given an assignment to use mathmatical formulas to figure out the Height of a very tall pole using angles etc. That night an aggie goes out, pushes over the pole and measures it to get the answer. He goes back to the dorm, tells his roommate what he did and roommate just shakes his head and says "you fool, he wants the HEIGHT not the LENGTH!"

“How did it happen?” the doctor asked the middle-aged Aggie as he set the man’s broken leg.

“Well, doc, 25 years ago …”

“Never mind the past. Tell me how you broke your leg this morning.”

“Like I was saying…25 years ago, when I first started working on the farm, that night, right after I’d gone to bed, the farmer’s beautiful daughter came into my room. She asked me if there was anything I wanted. I said no, everything is fine. “Are you sure?”, she asked. “I’m sure,” I said. “Isn’t there anything I can do for you?” she wanted to know. “I reckon not,” I replied…

“Excuse me,” said the doctor, “What does this story have to do with your leg?”

“Well, this morning,” the Aggie explained, “when it dawned on me what she meant, I fell off the roof!”

Only one Aggie joke needed in reply...

What do you call an Aggie four years after he graduates?

    "Boss".

    :p

    BONUS:

How do you get a Texas grad off your porch??

    Pay him for the pizza...

Going into the 4th quarter and the Aggies are looking pretty strong. Fun game to watch when I have no dog in the fight.

Congrats to the Aggies. A lot of sportsmanship on the field by both teams after the clock expired.

Can anybody spare a punt team????
    God we are awful.

Congrats to Cyrus Gray. He shouldered the load when Christine Michael went down, and he really carried us tonight...

Congratz to Scott and the Aggies! They appear to be finally headed in the right direction. I must admit that I didn't understand the phantom pass interference call on #7, but they won anyway. Congratz!

    Thanks guys, it feels great.

JO'Co, that PI call was a make-up for Pellini.

If anything, I would have expected offensive pass interference. What I couldn't understand more was the officials standing around on the punt at the end of the game. The ball had already stopped moving and one of the officials appeared to be lokking up at the clock to stop it after it reached 00:00. In my opinion, there should have been 2 seconds left and a hail Mary chance for Texas. Long shot, agreed. But still a shot.

Don't get me wrong. There was a benefit for the McCord household with the Aggie win. Now, no matter how Tennessee finishes against Kentucky tomorrow, Texas will not have a better season than we had and we stand to do better. Humbles the co-workers.

    Tom,

I thought the same, but my ref friends say the ball has to completely stop moving, so the refs kinda waited that extra second because the wind made it wobble.
Usually a player touches it by that time, which forces the issue.. but not last night.

They did blow the whistle as the clock showed "one second", but as a send off to Nebraska, this time they let it hit "00".

Congrats Scott, great win for Sherman and the program!

I really thought that we would block that last punt, but your guy got it off. That our team didn't have a clue that they needed to field the punt to stop the clock and give us a shot at a hail mary says it all about it this year.

It will be interesting to see what Mack does with all this extra time he's going to have. Needs to make some changes for sure.

FWIW Texas will have the #1 overall recruiting class this year and while you didn't see much of a running game this year, next year look out for a kid named Malcolm Brown, he's in the mould of Cedric Benson, Ricky Williams.

Also I should have known it wouldn't be Texas day when Roy Williams turned the winning catch into the losing strip for the Cowboys. Although I have to admit I always enjoy a Cowgirls loss!! :)

    Thanks Terry,

Every time I thought we were about to bury your guys, our horrendous punt team would give me a heart attack and you were right back in our faces.

Huge win for us... and springs us into a nice bowl on a great roll.
I am really going to enjoy December this year!
