Thanks AJ. I think you and yours have some right to be angry. That roughing call was lame, and it came at a critical time. However, I'm not ready to concede the game based on that call. You did get the ball back with 3 minutes left, and only down 3. We stuffed your offense, and that was it. Now a little more anaylsis, since that's how I started this thread. NU had 145 yards in penalties. 15 was for the bogus ruffing call. (agreed, it was bad) 30 were against Cotton for the fumble pileup. 15 were against Pelini for dropping five f-bombs on the line judge in three seconds. I think it was 25 on PI calls that were legit - your guys didn't look for the ball. Outside of that, the other 60 yards were all false starts or formation penalties. 30 were formation penalties which are just stupidity penalties on the players (seriously, you should know as a player if you're on the line or not, and the Aggies have had quite a few themselves this year). The other 30 yards were all false starts. That had more to do with the noise and the 12th Man than any sort of agenda by the refs. When you rack up 60 yards of false starts and illegal formations, there's no conspiracy there, just a lack of discipline and awareness...
Cotton was being intentionally injured, thus the reaction. Don't forget about the PI flag that was picked up with no explanation. Those ref's deserved to be called CS's, MF's or whatever else Coach P delivered... #46 Eric Martin had 2 15 yarders called on him with no replay's....
Bo was not just mad at the officals. Don't know what TM did but Bo was not happy! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CdqUD5PBWnE?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CdqUD5PBWnE?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
