MSU tallied for 22 points in the fourth quarter to remain tied for the conference title. It looked like the Boilers had their number for three quarters. Wisconsin Badgers looked very impresive over Michigan in the Big House without their primary running back, John Clay. Ohio State had their hands full at Iowa, but managed a lated TD for a 20-17 win over the Hawkeyes. (Identical score last year here in Columbus) When Posey let that bomb from Pryor fall through his hands in the endzone, I thought we had lost our chance for a win. (about three or four minutes to go) Looks like a three way tie for the conference title, as I do not see any of the three leaders losing next week?
I was at the Big House yesterday for the Wiscy game...Michigan was done in by a terrible first half...Wisconsin was just...workmanlike and surgical. Another heartbreaker for Purdue...when do we quit pulling defeat from the jaws of victory? Listened to first half of OSU-Iowa and watched the second half...seemed like just a well played game by both teams. What almost cost us was big drops by our two best receivers (Sanzenbacher and Posey). Another good day by Pryor but one where he won't impress his detractors...18/33 for 195 yds. Only had 78 rushing yards but many of them were huge impact plays. Played with a bum right shoulder. Missed some passes and had some drops. Herron had a mediocre game rushing (69) but had a couple huge receptions. Barclay kicked his career long field goal with the game on the line. I really like this team. Not the most talented we've had but they are fun to watch.
